As one of few fairs with no admission fee, and located in the small town of Caruthers, the 95th annual caruthersfair.com is held, Sept. 26-29.
Thousands of people attend this event, attracted to the various foods and rides. The Fresno Rescue Mission, California Scholarship Federation, and many others have their own food booths; serving barbecue and hispanic food. There are many other foods to try too.
The Ferris wheel is one of the main attractions, giving a view of the whole town of Caruthers at the top. The Fresno city lights, and miles of farmland can be seen in the distance.
Although the fair is not quite as big as the nearby fresnofair.com, held only a few weeks after, it is still worth visiting!
