Markarian explains what he thinks the team can fulfill this season.

“I am always excited to see how each team develops from the beginning of the season to the end, the team has a chance to be very good,” Markarian said.

Akhtar holds excitement and exhilaration for what the season will hold.

I have always welcomed challenges in coaching and look forward to this season with new players on the roster and developing them to improve their performance,” Akhtar said. “Every group and every season brings about new challenges.”

Kirra Obwald, ‘23, the team captain for the girls’ team explains her confidence for the improvement of the players.

The test will be rising to the occasion in our new league and working as a team regardless of our record,” Obwald said. “Our success this season will be found in taking one practice and one game at a time.”

Jack Rieker, 23′ the boys’ team captain expresses how he feels about the team this year.
