LETTER%3A+Trials+of+switching+schools

This letter was written in response to Exchange, new students share opportunities, fears.

Dear Editor,

[/media-credit] Guest writer, Erin Wilson, discusses the impacts of switching schools, from her own experience.
I think it is great that Fresno Christian has gotten more new students this year. It is always fun to meet new people and make new friends. I love talking to new people and learning about where they are from and what activities they like.

It is always interesting to learn about all the different people we will be going to school with this year. I like that this article highlighted all the new students we got this year including the transfer and foreign exchange.

I love that we get the chance to talk with students from other countries and talk about what their home was like and how things are different. It is always difficult to new student but I think it also very fun. 8th grade was my first year at Fresno Christian and even though it was scary, I had a lot of fun and meet tons of new people.

I think this school is fairly good at welcoming new students and trying to make them feel more included, especially because the school is so small everyone knows when there is a new student. Overall I like this article because it helped us to get to know some of the new students a little more and we were reminded that being new to a school is difficult.
