Welcome back Fresno Christian! Students, staff and FC community gathered together for the first time in two years during the annual convocation, celebrating the opening of the 2021-22 school year, Aug. 12. Due to COVID-19, there was no convocation during the previous year. The opening. event was held in the People’s Church auditorium with standing room only.

Worship team leader Daniel Garrison along with an entire worship team of FC alumni kicked off the morning singing “Battle Belongs” by Phil Wickham. Other songs include “Way Maker” by Leeland and “Reign above it all” by Bethel.

Principal Amy Deffenbacher and Vice Principal  Scott Falk welcomed back TK-12th grade students and families. After worship, Superintendent Jeremy Brown opened his message with the theme verse of the school year, Colossians 1:17.

Verse: “He is before all things, and in him all things hold together.”

This year FC welcomes over 130 new students and families on campus as wait list continue to grow.

Thankful to be back on campus, we wish everyone a great year ahead!
