Heading into the fourth week of school, high school students from each class look back on their favorite summer memories. From African mission trips to cheer camp, students participated in a wide variety of activities.
Juggling basketball, work and trips, Suky Cheema, ’19, had an eventful summer.
“My favorite thing I did this summer was practicing basketball for summer league in San Diego, which was really fun,” Cheema said. “I also went to Pismo and San Francisco. It was a challenging summer with working and basketball and juggling everything. One new thing that I tried this summer was Arabian food, which I had never tried before. It was really gross and I probably won’t eat it again.”
In the following video, students are asked their favorite summer memories, including how they grew athletically and spiritually.

So nice to hear what a few of the students were up to over the summer! The growing a beard and driving both made me laugh. Nice job!
