Senior editor Addison Schultz, ’21, interviews veteran and Fresno icon, Dr. Fitzalbert M. Marius, in preparation for this years Veterans Day, Nov. 9.
Dr. Marius sat down to share his story with students in the Jackie Johnson Room in Building 6. As an east coast native, Marius did not move to Fresno until he was a young adult.
In the time before he lived in Fresno, he moved from South America to New York, served the United States in the military and made the decision to go to medical school over art school with the flip of a coin, just to name a few.
Along with his life story, Dr. Marius shares bits of life advice and opinions for students. With 96 years of life experience, Marius proves to be a credible source for life advice. On Nov. 13. Dr. Marius will return to Fresno Christian to speak in chapel.
Interviewed by FC parent and local radio host Paul Leoffler, Marius will share more of his story with the entirety of the junior high and high school students listening at 9:30 a.m.
