Fresno Christian homecoming week has officially begun. This year a board game-themed slogan is, ‘Homecoming Game On’. Throughout Sept. 30-Oct. 4, student leadership will host princess pageants while spirit points are awarded each day for participation in dress days. Those points will be added to the classes total score at the big event on Friday night, Oct. 4.

For ‘Sports Day Thursday’, students dress up in their favorite attire. Supporting their teams through jerseys, hats, socks, and flags, students represented their favorite team.

For the Royal Battle, the senior king and queen homecoming candidates performed choreographed lip sing battle for the high school student body during chapel. After the judges deliberated, the kings won the battle!

During lunch, princess candidates participated in the last princess pageant of the week, Oct. 3. Today’s activity consisted of the candidates participating in “Princess Jousting”. The girls faced off against each other, attempting to knock their opponent down.

To end the day students and faculty united together at the Poplin residence for the 3rd annual Bonfire Rally, Oct. 3. The rally consisted of honoring the football and cheer team, as they hyped up the players for tomorrow nights big game. To start the rally off, cheer performed a stunt show and introduced the entire team. Throughout the night students ate s’mores and participated in games such as spike ball, volleyball, horseshoes.

The 35th Annual FC Homecoming is tomorrow night, Oct. 4. Gates open at 6 p.m, princess candidates will be announced at 6:30 p.m. on the FC fields, followed by the game starting at 7 p.m.
