Volleyball wins ESL conference tournament

[/media-credit] Girls volleyball are the East Sequoia League champions, Oct. 19.

The girls varsity volleyball team places first in the East Sierra League (ESL) conference tournament, Oct. 19.

The tournament was played with all schools from the ESL, playing matches best two out of three. With single elimination, the Eagles first defeated Kings Christian, 2-1, advancing to the finals where they beat WCPA, 2-1.

ESL Conference Tournament results:

1st place – Fresno Christian

2nd place – WCPA

3rd place – Summit Charter

4th – Kings Christian

5th – Laton

6th – Alpaugh

FC finishes out league, 9-0, defeating WCPA, Kings Christian, Summit Charter, Laton, and Alpaugh.

Volleyball will be competing for the division 5 title. The Eagles first playoff game will be Oct. 31., details soon to come.
