For the first time in Fresno Christian history, high school boys will have the option of playing volleyball during the spring sports season, Feb, 28.

Beginning in 2017, student leadership created the event Powder Rough to give the boys an opportunity to play volleyball. Because of the amount of success it received, administration decided to try having a boys volleyball team in the spring. Girls volleyball coach, David Tatum, offered to step in and coach the first boys team.

Because basketball is still in their season, the team will practice in the Peoples Church gym after school from 3:30 p.m. – 5 p.m.

The boy’s first game will be away at Sunnyside at 4:30 p.m., March 5. Make sure to head out and support your boys volleyball team!
