PE class learns Taekwondo

Cohl Obwald, ‘21, instructs 3rd period physical education class on Taekwondo, Sept. 25. Students participate upon parents permission during their block period.

Obwald has been involved with Taekwondo since he was eight years old. He now teaches at Break the Barriers, working 6 hours a week.

Break the Barriers is a non-profit organization committed to providing acceptance, education and awareness for people with a wide range of different abilities through many programs.

PE students engage throughout the year by learning multiple sports. Some of those sports include, flag football, volleyball and basketball.
